John Mckiernan has introduced SPC to Gillian Harwood of Lewes Workspace LTD through his cultural innovation and entrepreneurship efforts in Great Yarmouth. We hope to support their transition to high speed networking at their workspaces and promote more collaborative development.
Gillian has been redeveloping period buildings for use as workspaces and residences for over 40 years with a passion for high quality renovations that promote their use for social enterprise.
This is one of the most recent buildings in the process of reanimation and where John will be launching Forth Portal as pop up (in the grey building known as CAB). The scaffolding was removed a hour before taking this pic during a very recent visit there. The interior is in the process of remedial rationalisation for workspace provision.
We also looked at pub around the corner with flats above that has yet to be tackled. Great Yarmouth has been her most recent area of attention after visiting here some years ago and being struck by its faded glory and sorry dereliction.
